Applications of steam flaking grain enable animal to convert insolvable starches into sugar. In the case of cereal grains the hot cooked starch granules are ruptured, making the starch more available in livestock digestion and flavor. This process increase the geletinization value of the grain. especially for ruminants such as cows, flaked feed gives effects as roughages would provide because volume, specific gravity is small, it is also effective for prevention of possible disease such as liver abscess, urinary calculus.

The flaking process is good for all kinds of grain and cereals such as Corn. Beans. Barley. Wheat ... etc. And edible for human consumption and animal feed consumption

STEAM COOKING CONDITIONER//FLAKE ROLLER

The grains are pressed and flaked when passing through the two rolls. By the roller feeder above main rolls. Thickness of produced flake is 0.4 to 2.0mm depending on the adjusting of gap between two rolls, which can be done by both manual or by Hydraulic unit.

Grains slowly fall inside the conditioner by gravityand conditioned, cooked by heating and steaming for about 30 minutes. The grain temperature after conditioning process is about

100^oC Jand degree of Alphanizing of startch reach almost 50%.
