    Crumbling of concentrated particles such as minerals or pelleted feeds into smaller more uniform      particles is desirable. This is particularly true in poultry operations, because the resulting      crumbles, are easier to swallow and digest than pellets.
     
Compared to ground feed, crumbles are granular, relatively dust-free with an irregular shape.
     
A one-high unit contains one pair of rolls specially corrugated for crumbling and does one      reduction. Usually a feeder above the rolls is required which provide more even feeding of pellet &      more uniform particles is produced. One roll usually has a ring cut corrugation while the other      has a horizontal corrugation. The longer the roll, the greater the production

  FINE GRINDER ROLLER MILL

   

 

     Roller mill produce a Lower cost products of higher quality. Better appearance and more uniform      texture than any other process for reducing a medium size particle. By adjusting the gap between      the pair of rolls will gradually reduce the product without making the objectionable fines. While      operate the roller mill in the function of cracking that will only cut the product into two or three      pieces. While granulation may cut the product into ten to twenty pieces. Grinding may grind the      product to form 60 mesh to 80 mesh or even as fine as flour.
